Registration Now Open

Use the buttons below to register for the conference. See the accordion menus below for additional information. 

Everyone who registers will receive an invitation to join the conference in the Sched app within 48 hours of registering. See the Attendee Guide for more information about using Sched.

Please allow for 48 hours after registration for your Sched account to be activated.

If you have registered, waited 48 hours, and are still unable to log into Sched, contact webeditor@musiclibraryassoc.org.

New this year, MLA is accepting donations to help provide financial relief for current MLA members in the form of covering conference registration costs. For more information, and to donate, please see the General Conference Registration Fund page.

If you would like to cover a specific MLA member's conference registration, before registering or donating, please see MLA's instructions for how to provide funds privately to offset a conference registration for a specific MLA member (Word doc).

Instructions for TLA members :

To begin : If you do not have it already, you will need a MLA website account to register for the conference. NO fee is required to join MLA as a Non-member. To create an account:

1. Go to https://www.musiclibraryassoc.org/page/JoinMLA

2. Select "Join MLA Now"

3. Select "Non-member" and press the "Continue" button

4. Create a Username and fill out your name

5. Fill out the required information fields and select "Submit"

6. Scroll through the Membership Dues area (check the required boxes) and click "Submit Securely"

7. Joining MLA as a Non-member requires approval. Once you have been approved, you can proceed.

Once you have a MLA site account :

1. Go to https://www.musiclibraryassoc.org/events/register.aspx?id=1662563

2. Sign in. If your account is expired, email mla@areditions.com to request a reset. MLA will respond to your request within about 24 hours, and no fee will be charged. (The MLA Business Office is open Monday through Friday.)

3. Fill out the "Attendee Info" section, then continue to "Attendee Selections."

4. In the "Attendee Selections" area, all of the general "Member" selections are for BOTH MLA AND TLA members unless otherwise marked.

5. Submit your payment securely.

IMPORTANT : Once you submit payment, if you need to change anything please email the Business Office at mla@areditions.com before taking any other action.

The Music Library Association and the Theatre Library Association use a number of software applications to ensure the best possible conference experience. Conference attendees may wish to review the needed applications and their privacy policies before choosing to register. They are listed here for your convenience.


Sched is used for disseminating the conference program in online form. It is also handy for receiving time-sensitive updates about conference changes, and it can be useful for networking and for keeping track of your own personal conference schedule. Since Sched also controls access to virtual events, it is absolutely essential for anyone attending or presenting virtually, and for anyone attending committee, interest group, or task force meetings.

Vimeo will be used to live-stream conference sessions. A Vimeo account is essential for virtual attendees. Vimeo will also be used to host recorded conference sessions after the conference, although those videos will be viewable without a Vimeo account.

YourMembership (YM) is, among other things, the member management system used by the Music Library Association, and the content management system for MLA's main Web site. It handles conference registrations. Non-MLA-members will need to create a free MLA account in order to register for the conference.

Zoom will be used for some presentations (e.g., poster sessions, Get Involved, Tech Hub); all committee, interest group, or task force meetings; and is essential for anyone presenting virtually.

Exhibitor Registration Rates:

  • Exhibit table - Regular: $650
  • Exhibitor table - Corporate patron: $520
  • Exhibitor table - Corporate member: $585

Register online and pay by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or AmEx) or use Bill Me to print your registration form and send it to the MLA Business Office with your check. (You can also log into the site later to pay any outstanding balances with a credit card.)
